Feather Cycles was founded by the former BMX rider Ricky Feather at year 2009. That year he left his factory job and started to learn building bikes. Today, the 31 year old behind Feather Cycles has customers who come from all over the world to purchase the handcrafted road bikes he makes in his workshop in Yorkshire.

I started Feather Cycles a couple of years ago with an intent to build quality steel bicycle frames right here on U.K soil. It occurred to me that the U.K steel frame market didn't seem to be moving with the times and that only a few builders were doing anything different. Feather Cycles uses traditional methods to create not only bikes built from the latest materials, but also with a contemporary look. All the while building traditional looking bikes too!
